Hotel El Balear - Alghero

The modern accommodation is impeccably clean, the staff is very helpful, and the location is particularly good for exploring nearby beaches by car, with an exceptionally nice breakfast offering plenty of food and beverages.

We had the standard room which was beautiful and airy. The beds where comfortable, the breakfast was satisfactory.

Well-maintained hotel, immaculately clean, satisfactory breakfast, excellent location right in front of the sea. A lot of goodies for breakfast. Incredible service provided. Not to mention good wifi! Excellent overall experience.

No elevator, suitcases have to be carried up the stairs. Breakfast is not worth even mentioning for the lack of food. Payable wifi only in the lobby. Room with old shabby furniture.

Friendly staff. Good location at the edge of the Old Town, restaurants nearby. 10 Mins walk from the bus terminal. Balcony with lovely view out to sea. Quiet area and quiet hotel which we liked . Adequate continental breakfast. We were very happy with our stay at this hotel.

First room offered was a single and it was tiny! They gave me a room with a larger bed and I had room to change my clothes, which was nice. It is situated across a street from coastline, which is magical.

Shower was tiny and that's sayin something considering I'm a small person. Breafast was decent but overall value was overpriced.

Convenient to the Old Town of Alghero, good sea views from front rooms. Friendly and obliging staff. Adequate buffet breakfast at fair cost.

Dated appearance and facilities- small bedroom & basic shower room, especially considering we were there for a full week, whereas other guests seemed to typically stay only a shorter time -limited comfortable outside relaxing areas Often late night noise from the road to the front.We found beds hard for our comfort.

Ok Hotel close to the city centre and close to a small beach.Parking nearby and easy to find.Rooms are a bit boring and not anything special.Would be good to have eighter a minibar or at least a small fridge.Ok balcony.

Very friendly, efficient staff and a quiet but central location

Nice. Clean. App 50 m from the sea where one could have a swim even though it wasn't a very attractive "beach". It was rather near but not very close to the old town, app 750 m, but few hotels were located closer in this direction.

We were lucky and a balcony towards the sea. The view of back yard of the hotel was much less attractive.
